Position Information

Expressions of interest are invited from teachers, university students in their third year and beyond or mathematics tutors interested in filling the role of Part Time Temporary Numeracy Teacher in our Mathematics Faculty commencing immediately until the end of 2021. The role will involve team teaching and the withdrawal of students into groups to consolidate numeracy concepts taught in class. The position will be located at: Sefton High School Hector Street, Sefton NSW 2162. An expression of interest addressing the criteria, of no more than 2 pages in length should be submitted to Zaynab Najem via email only at zaynab.najem@det.nsw.edu.au by 4pm on Monday 22nd February 2021.

Position Criteria

Selection criteria  Knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts taught across years 7-10.  Interest in meeting the needs of students in Numeracy. One of the two referees listed must be the applicant’s current principal or supervisor for non-school-based staff. Expressions of interest must not exceed 2 A4 pages and require the signature of the applicant’s current principal or supervisor.
