The position is within a proactive and supportive PDHPE Faculty. The Faculty and school as a whole have a strong commitment to professional learning and high expectations for student outcomes. The role will include responsibility for the coordination of whole school, weekly sport and assisting with the implementation of the new 7- 10 PDHPE Syllabus and Life Ready course. The position is 4 days a week with Fridays off but full time is available if required with Fridays covering absent teachers. Classes are junior PDHPE and 9/10 PASS.
• Approval to teach PDHPE (7 – 10) • Willingness to teach Physical Activity and Sports Studies • Demonstrated ability to coordinate whole school sporting events • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and collegially with whole school initiatives and faculty programs including implementation of the new syllabus in 7 – 10 PDHPE and Life Ready course for senior students. • Ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the learning needs of a diverse student body • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community.
