The Retail Services Teacher will deliver high quality education to High School Students who are undertaking the Retail Services course in Stage 6 with a view to receiving a Certificate III in Retail as well as the opportunity of undertaking the HSC in this subject. The position also requires the innovative and engaging delivery of the Mandatory Geography course to students from a wide range of backgrounds and learning abilities in Stage 4 and 5. 1) Approval to teach Stage 6 VET Retail Services (including Certificate IV TAE40116 in training and assessment) and willingness to teach Stage 4 and Stage 5 Mandatory Geography. 2) Demonstrated ability to implement RTO policies and procedures in the delivery of Retail Services as part of a cohesive Vocational Education and Training team. 3) Ability to personalise learning and incorporate literacy and numeracy strategies to improve student learning outcomes. 4) Well-developed inter-personal and communication skills with a demonstrated capacity to contribute productively to faculty programs and extra-curricular activities.
